The Barbican range was developed by Jacksons to be the most complete, versatile, adaptable and durable range of fencing and gates available. Over the years, as we have continually improved on it, Barbican has grown to become our signature design and recognised the world over for the high levels of security it provides without compromising on style.

Every design in the Barbican system features our fully welded pale-through-rail construction for maximum strength and security and as important, ensuring there are no weak points such as exposed and vulnerable rivets. The horizontal rails are sleeved onto the upright posts, so there are no visible joins or unsightly bolts for intruders to attack.

At Jacksons, we believe that high security and safety are not mutually exclusive. That is why pales are spaced to a maximum gap of 100mm to conform to Building Regulations for anti-trap, making Barbican safe for applications where children may be present.

1. Barbican
Barbican features our fully welded tubular pale-throughrail construction which means there are no rivets to be forced or palings to be removed. The horizontal rails are sleeved on to the upright posts to provide a seamless design that is both stylish and incredibly strong.

2. Barbican Imperial
Classic looks with a less intimidating appearance, Barbican Imperial with its 25mm and 32mm diameter round pales gives you all the advantages of the Barbican range with no reduction in strength or security. Barbican Imperial is available with a choice of decorative finials and post tops to offer the right solution for even the most prestigious applications.

3. Barbican Defender
Barbican Defender projects a powerful visual statement in perimeter protection.The curved pales are designed to prevent intruders from climbing or scaling the fence, whichever side it is approached. Defender features pale lengths of 325mm and is ideal for higher security applications. The tubular pales are of increased wall thickness; which means its strength more than matches its looks.

4. Barbican Barbed-Top
Barbican Barbed-Top with its menacing barbs welded to the top of the pales acts as a highly effective deterrent and barrier to intruders.Panels are available in 2.25, 2.5m and 3.0m heights to prevent accidental injuries caused by contact with the protruding spikes.

5. Barbican Extra
Barbican Extra panels are identical to standard Barbican panels, but with an important difference, the additional pales through the top rail that ensure even the smallest hand or foot cannot gain purchase
